TimberTech Non-Collated Cortex Screw & Plug Packs provide a premium, top-down hidden fastening solution for TimberTech composite deck boards, using specialty deck screws paired with loose, color-matched plugs cut from the same composite material as the decking itself. Once installed, the plugs blend seamlessly into the surface, creating a smooth, fastener-free look across the whole deck — including field boards, perimeter boards, and stairs, where many other hidden-fastener systems can't reach.
Unlike TimberTech's collated plug strips, this non-collated format gives installers greater control over plug placement and grain orientation, letting each plug be hand-matched to the surrounding board grain for the closest possible visual blend — a meaningful advantage on high-visibility areas of the deck. The 2-1/2" ACQ-approved screw uses a TORX ttap drive system for a strong hold with reduced cam-out. Compatible exclusively with genuine TimberTech Cortex screws and plugs — using non-Cortex components together voids the warranty. Available in a range of colors matching TimberTech's composite decking collections, and backed by a 25-year residential warranty.
