The TimberTech LED Accent Light produces a delicate, warm downlight effect on deck posts or between balusters, adding both a finished architectural detail during the day and a soft, welcoming glow after dark. It's commonly placed at transition posts or near stairs to improve nighttime visibility and safety in high-traffic areas of a deck, and it's specially designed to blend seamlessly into TimberTech's composite railing systems.
The fixture housing is built from sturdy aluminum for long-term outdoor durability, and it runs on low-voltage 12V AC/DC wiring, drawing roughly 1.6 watts per light and staying cool to the touch. Installation requires no specialized tools, and the light is designed to coordinate visually and in color temperature with the rest of TimberTech's lighting lineup, including Post Cap Lights, Riser Lights, Under-Rail Lights, and In-Deck Lights, for a cohesive lighting plan across the whole deck. Note: because of its mounted position, this fixture may not meet 2012 IRC R303.7 stairway illumination code if placed too far from the area it's meant to light — it's intended as an accent and ambiance fixture rather than a primary stair light. Available in Architectural Bronze, Gloss White, and Matte White, backed by TimberTech's 5-year limited product warranty.
