The FastenMaster Tiger Claw Pneumatic Installation Tool dramatically speeds up hidden fastener installation on grooved composite and hardwood decking, cutting install time on contractor-scale jobs in a way manual driving simply can't match. A unique nose piece holds each clip in the correct position automatically, then fires a pneumatic screw-nail ("Scrail") through the clip and into the joist in a single pull of the trigger — fastening the board to the joist in one motion instead of positioning a clip, driving a screw, and moving to the next board separately.
On average, the tool installs roughly 400 square feet of decking per hour, a significant productivity gain over hand-driving clips one at a time, and it delivers consistent fastener placement and spacing across the whole deck for a clean, professional result. It's compatible with Tiger Claw TC-G fasteners as well as most other grooved-decking clip systems on the market, including TimberTech CONCEALoc, ConnectClip for Clubhouse Decking, KleerKlip for Kleer Decking, and Trex HideAway. The gun requires a pneumatic air compressor and hose, along with Tiger Claw TC-G clips and collated installation screws (both sold separately), and ships with a case, owner's manual, instructional DVD, adjusting wrenches, and gun oil. Carbon steel or stainless steel screw options are available depending on the application. Backed by FastenMaster's full lifetime warranty with registration.
