The Starborn Pro Plug System for Structural Composite Lumber brings hidden fastening to structural composite lumber connections, matching Starborn's structural wood system but engineered specifically for composite material. Plugs are made from the actual structural composite board itself, giving a true color and texture match rather than a generic filler.
This kit uses the Black Exterior Grade Coating screw with a Tri-Forge point for faster, easier insertion and reduced splitting during installation.
Installation (3 steps):
The system uses a T40 star drive on a flat head screw and is built for material 2" nominal thickness or greater. Follow the composite lumber manufacturer's specifications for screw spacing and edge/end distances.
