Starborn's Clip&Rip Universal Hidden Deck Clip speeds up grooved decking installation with a one-pass fastening method: insert the clip strip into the board groove, drive the screw, snap off the used clips, and slide the next board into place — no separate spacing tool, no repositioning, and no additional tools required beyond a standard drill. Compression tabs on each clip bite down into the joist as the screw sets, keeping the clip level so the next board slides on cleanly.
Clips come pre-assembled on collated strips of 16, enough to fasten a full 20-foot board with a single strip, and each clip is preloaded with a grade 305 stainless steel screw for reliable corrosion resistance in standard outdoor exposure (316 stainless is available separately for marine or high-corrosion environments). The system creates a consistent 3/16" gap between boards automatically, and is compatible with most major grooved composite, PVC, and hardwood decking brands, including Trex, TimberTech/AZEK, Fiberon, Deckorators, MoistureShield, and Wolf. A T-15 driver bit is included. Dedicated Starter Clips (sold separately, 305 stainless only) handle the first and last boards for a clean, consistent finish across the whole deck. Available in 192-count (approx. 100 sq ft) and 800-count (approx. 425 sq ft) packs, do not use with an impact driver, and covered by a limited lifetime warranty.

For Small Boxed Items:
We offer a 1-2 day turnaround for small boxed items and a tracking number will be provided to keep you updated on the status of your delivery.
For LTL Freight (Common Carrier) Items:
We use LTL freight for safe and efficient delivery. Your order will be scheduled for delivery, and it's important to note that for decking deliveries, a homeowner needs to be on hand to unload the product. This ensures a smooth and hassle-free delivery process. Rest assured, we're here to make the process as convenient as possible for you.
- Order Packed and Shipped, Watch for Our Email:
Once our team has meticulously packed your order onto a pallet for safe shipment, we're on the move. You can expect an email notification as your order leaves our facility, keeping you in the loop right from the start. - Coordinate Your Delivery Time:
We understand the importance of your project, so we aim to schedule deliveries at your convenience. The shipping company will get in touch with you to arrange a suitable delivery time, and the delivery truck will meet you at your designated location. - Receive Your Shipment:
At the agreed-upon time, the delivery truck will arrive at your specified location. You’ll inspect your order at the delivery site as it’s unloaded from the truck. You have a few options when it comes to semi truck delivery, which are hand unload (the standard delivery), liftgate, and flatbed/forklift. If you’re looking for something other than hand unload, please let us know at the time you schedule your delivery. - Inspect and Unload Your Shipment:
After your items have unloaded, please inspect each item, ensuring that nothing incurred damage during transit. If anything is damaged or missing, please indicate it on the delivery receipt and contact us at (855) 603-3325.
