The Simpson Strong-Tie HUC Concealed Face Mount Hanger is a heavy-duty joist hanger built for structures requiring additional strength and safety margin. Unlike standard face-mount hangers, the HUC's flanges turn inward, concealing the header flange for cleaner visible lines in exposed applications where appearance matters alongside structural performance. Constructed from 14-gauge steel with a G90 galvanized coating for corrosion resistance, the HUC installs to wood, masonry, or concrete and includes extra triangle and round holes for additional fastener flexibility. Fully tested, load rated, and code compliant, with select models available in a skewable or sloped-seat configuration. Available in a range of sizes to match different joist and beam dimensions.
