Fiberon Paramount PVC Decking is engineered for one job above all: staying safely underfoot when wet. Independent testing to ASTM F1679 shows Paramount delivering significantly higher slip resistance, wet or dry, than typical composite or wood decking — a meaningful advantage around pools, docks, and other waterside installations where traction matters most.
Made from cellular foam PVC rather than a wood-plastic composite, Paramount boards won't warp or swell when submerged, even after being cut, and are tested for use around fresh water, salt water, and chlorinated water environments — suitable for installations that may be temporarily submerged, like dock stairs. A four-sided protective cap resists staining, fading, mold, and moisture absorption, and the lightweight PVC construction makes boards easier to handle and install than heavier composite alternatives. Paramount is also rated to resist flame spread and is approved for use in all Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) zones. Available in the Hearth Collection (multi-tonal Brownstone and Sandstone) and Mantel Collection (solid Clay and Mineral), in square and grooved edge profiles, 12', 16', and 20' lengths. Note: PVC boards should be removed from standing water sources where freeze/thaw cycling may occur. Backed by a lifetime performance warranty and a 50-year stain and fade warranty.
