The Evolution Steel Deck S-Ledger is a structural ledger board that provides the connection point between deck framing and the supporting structure within the Fortress Evolution steel deck framing system. Constructed from galvanized steel with a durable black textured finish, its S-shaped profile interlocks with the Evolution Ledger Bracket, eliminating the need for excessive fasteners and speeding up installation. Unlike wood ledgers, it resists rot, warping, insect damage, and weathering for long-term structural performance. Pre-punched holes support standard 12" and 16" on-center joist spacing, and a blank (non-punched) option is available for custom spacing or angled ledger applications such as bay windows. Sold in 12' lengths, the S-Ledger integrates with the full range of Evolution joists and brackets.
