Deckorators Wood Rail Connectors provide a clean, structurally sound way to attach nominal 2x4 or 2x6 wood or composite top and bottom rails to posts, eliminating the need for toe-nailing and the splitting or misalignment that method often causes. Each connector is made from durable, pre-drilled plastic that ensures accurate, repeatable attachment — screw the connector to each end of the rail, then fasten the rail to the post through the pre-drilled holes for a secure, anchored 90-degree connection.
Standard Level connectors handle typical straight rail runs at a 90-degree angle, while Multi-Angle connectors accommodate angled rail sections from 20 to 45 degrees for non-square layouts, and dedicated Stair connectors are sized for stair angles between 22.5 and 45 degrees. Connectors are available for both 2x4 and 2x6 rail sizes (2x6 available in Black only) and come with color-matched stainless steel screws included for a neat, corrosion-resistant finish. Compatible with both wood and composite railing systems. Sold in 2-packs (enough for one rail), with a 50-pack contractor option available in Black.
