Deckorators Classic Round Aluminum Balusters bring a timeless, versatile design to deck railings, offering a step up from typical 2x2 wood balusters with the durability and low maintenance of aluminum. Constructed from heavy-gauge, 18-gauge extruded aluminum and finished with an AAMA 2604-compliant powder coat, these balusters deliver roughly five times the outdoor exposure resistance and twice the humidity resistance of standard AAMA 2603 coatings, holding up through years of weather without fading or corroding.
Each baluster measures 3/4" in diameter and installs between the top and bottom rail using Deckorators Round or Designer Baluster Connectors, or compatible Universal Round and Uni-Ball connectors (all sold separately) — no drilling required. The balusters work with wood, composite, or aluminum railing systems, making them a straightforward retrofit for existing rail or a component in new construction, and are compatible with Deckorators' ALX Pro and ALX Classic railing lines. Available in lengths of 26" (for a 36" finished rail), 29", 32" (for a 42" rail), 36" (for a 48" rail), and 40", across colors including Satin Black, Textured Black, White, Bronze, Textured Gray, Textured White, and Weathered Brown. Plan for approximately 2.5–2.6 balusters per linear foot of rail. Sold in 10-packs, with 100-count contractor packs available in select colors and lengths (typically 26" and 32" Black/Textured Black).
