Deckorators Baluster Connectors secure 3/4" round or square aluminum balusters to top and bottom deck rails without routing or drilling holes into the rail material — the baluster simply installs directly over the connector for a clean, finished look at both ends. Beyond the visual finish, the connectors also serve a functional purpose: they create a barrier between the aluminum baluster and pressure-treated or ACQ lumber, protecting against the corrosion that occurs when chemicals in treated wood contact aluminum directly.
Connectors are available in Level (straight rail) and Stair versions, with stair connectors angled to fit standard 30–35 degree stair pitches so balusters stay properly aligned along an incline. Standard and Designer styles are offered across both round and square profiles, letting the connector match the aesthetic of Deckorators' Classic or Estate baluster lines. Each 20-pack includes enough connectors to install 10 balusters, along with the 1-1/2" square-drive stainless steel screws needed for mounting; a 200-pack contractor option is also available. Compatible with wood, composite, and aluminum railing systems.
